VFE training facility
VFE is finalising plans for a new state-of-the-art training facility which will offer courses for both employees and customers.
This concept is believed to be the first of its type and reflects the company’s intention to promote excellence within its own business and to support the wider industry.
Multi-skilled team
The training centre will be conveniently located close to VFE’s UK head office in Halesowen and is being purpose-designed to meet current and future training needs. Depending on their role, product and non-product related courses will be available to company staff. Training will form part of a personal development programme, enabling employees to achieve their full potential as part of a multi-skilled workforce. Some courses will have external accreditation, while others will be conducted by VFE’s own highly qualified personnel.
Maximise productivity
The well-equipped facility will also run courses for VFE’s customers. These will be aimed at in-house engineering teams responsible for maintaining heat treatment industry equipment such as furnaces, pumps and autoclaves. Training will focus on how to improve machine utilisation and maximise productivity. Complementing VFE’s ServiceCare plans, the courses will help customers get the most from their machines between routine service visits.
Ongoing programme
Once up and running, VFE’s new training facility will run a continuous programme of courses to ensure staff and customers keep up to date with the latest product and industry developments.
